Last Sunday a bunch of people where holding up "Boycott Tesla", "No one voted for Elon" and similar signs on an overpass adjacent to the Tesla dealership in my town. I giggled. I also noticed the dealership lot was completely stacked with Teslas, so it seems the reports of Tesla car sales being down could be correct.

I've heard from a few people that they used to like Elon but definitely won't be buying a Tesla now.
All he had to do was stay quiet. On X, he should have posted very rarely, and just about X or Tesla topics.
He could have still donated to Trump's campaign.
