I've met a family from roughly that part of India. It's fascinating — the father is white. Very Indian face shape, but his skin is distinctly white. They generally have light skin, but there's a difference between having a light complexion and a white complexion.
There's this hilarious argument that really winds up a lot of white supremacists, that Persians are the original Aryans, and it's led to some white supremacists embracing the idea, and others having their mind torn apart at the concept of someone from the Middle East being 'white'.
