Do you think there would have been riots of similar intensity if it had been a bible that was burned?
Question: where in the New Testament did Jesus or his Apostles teach to murder and riot when the bible is burned (or blasphemed)?
Neither does the Qu'ran. In fact, their is no credible reading of the Qu'ran to justify murder and rioting for blasphemy.
Here's all relevant versus with a link to the original Arabic if people disagree with the translation:
"Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah,
lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance.
Thus We have made alluring to each people its own doings.
In the end will they return to their Lord,
and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did. [6:108]
"O ye who believe! Let not some men among you ridicule others:
It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former):
Nor let some women ridicule others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former):
Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames:
Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed:
And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. [49:11]
"Those who avoid the greater crimes and shameful deeds, and, when they are angry even then forgive;" [42:37]

So Christianity and Islam agree: love and kindness in the face of hate is the tool of the Lord (Allah).

Allah is not the Lord though. Allah doesn't even exist. Jesus Christ/Jehova/Yahweh is God/the Lord. And no, Allah is not the same as Yahweh so please don't insult true Christians and Jews by saying he is.
He does. Allah is literally just a different name for the Judeo-Christian God. He goes by Allah, God, Elohim, Heavenly Father, etc.
Don't let the atheists poison the well of Theism by buying into their talking points. Their talking points are created specifically to divide us from worshiping God and uniting. Instead, they seek ti influence us to do the Devil's work by constantly fighting with each other. Where there is contention, there is the Devil.
Seek to find similarities and distance yourself from the insular group-think. Instead, embrace commonalities between the various beliefs in the world. Look for the good, not the evil. Avoid the evil, yes, but look for the good.

You act like religious extremists give a shit what it says in a book, they care if they can use it but it is irrelevant if it runs counter to their messaging.
It doesn't say to kill gays or kill people who draw pictures of your prophets in any of these books, yet religious extremists have done those things.

Christians are not allowed to forget about the Spanish Inquisition.
Imagine the look on Jesus Christ's face when they started torturing and mutilating people to death IN HIS NAME. Like this (except more 1st Century CE Arab looking with two heaping scoops of celestial glory):

Those were Roman Catholics that carried out the Inquisitions though. True Christians were actually many of the innocent victims of those sick, torturous executions. So yeah, you're right... real Christians will not and should not ever forget what the roman catholic church did to true Christians during those Inquisitions.
Those innocent Christians that were murdered for rejecting the RCC were martyrs for God.
The RCC is, at its roots, an evil cult (though not everyone who is catholic is actually evil; many are good people today). It is, at best, a poor representation of Christianity. And I am still like 80% sure that Pope Francis is the False Prophet.

Sorry, I did not mean to offend any catholics of today. What I said is the truth though. As I said, many catholics are good people. It is mainly the leaders of the RCC that I don't trust , like, at all.
I don't trust them either. That said, I wonder how you'd defend all the Protestants that basically made coming to America absolute hell for the Catholics freeing oppression in their own countries.
