It's good, Johnny Depp is a rare book dealer looking into some occult stuff, but it's not really horror film more of a dark comedy/mystery.

I think JJ Abrams started strong with Star Trek but has waned since he tried to reboot Star Wars.

You can't recover a franchise that ended with "you know, anakin, joining the dark side can turn midichlorians to stop pregnant women from dying in childbirth!" .... and then she died anyway. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! etc.
