Saw the new Broly film.
It felt more like an expensive fan-service movie than anything. It had non-nonsensical fights with power-levels not really feeling like they scaled properly. But that's what happens when you invent SS Rose, Blue, and Ultra Instinct but don't really think too much about anything when creating these.
It's just money grabs, at this point. That's why the stories feel so...empty.

I haven't kept up with DBZ since the Cell saga. It got crazy with the power scaling. It was the same with Naruto at the end with the power up gimmes at the end.

I think the writer even said that was his plan, but he caved to the fans, who loved Goku too much.
I hate what they did with Gohan. He was supposed to be the strongest and then he wasn't...
That being said, I still like Goku a lot, it's just got kind of predictable, where everyone in time becomes one of his cheerleaders.
