Trump 🙂People are going to point out I said I wouldn't in the past, that is valid. However, the behavior of democrats changed my mind.
I live in a blue state that I doubt he will win.
I knew I could count on you to make the right choice again. 😉
I know you aren't exactly the most ardent Trump-supporter but at least you rightfully recognize that he is nowhere near as bad as the democrats.

Flying bear kills two Canadians in freak accidentThis is from 9 years ago.
The bear dies too 🙁
I've been watching a lot of animal fights and wild animal videos on You Tube recently. Some are really good, some are trash.
One of the better ones I've seen is one where an adult male lion is surrounded by like 15 hyenas and even being massively outnumbered he still manages to make them hesitate in swarming him.
Eventually though, it starts looking bleak for him as the hyenas start mustering up the courage to use hit and run attacks on him. As it starts to become clear that he can't hold them off forever another male lion moves in to rescue him and the hyenas tuck tail and run lol.
Amazing that just two male lions can make that many hyenas flee in terror. Just demonstrates why lions are the true kings of the jungle (or the African plains as was the case in that encounter).
A lone lioness probably would've been killed if she was in the place of that huge male lion.

Kodiaks and Polar Bears are better than Siberian Tigers, Siberian Tigers are greater than African Lions, African Lions are greater than other Asian Tigers and all other big Cats.
Prove it, pooty. Post some videos of bears (any kind of bears) beating adult male lions one-on-one.
Siberian tigers are huge as f*** and probably just as ferocious as lions so you might be right about that. Still though, an adult male lion would have some advantages over any tiger in a one-on-one fight.
Not saying they'd necessarily win but a lion is used to combat/fighting. They frequently battle other male lions and sometimes it even goes to the death. Tigers aren't nearly as experienced at fighting. They usually just stick to hunting lesser creatures and so wouldn't have the fighting experience a grown lion would tend to have.
A grown male lion also has a huge advantage with its large mane which would protect its neck from the tiger's jaws. A Siberian tiger definitely has a size and weight advantage though. It'd be a good fight, for sure. Could go either way, imo.

I'm biased though despite living in Africa my Sak Yant is a tiger.

In 2011, a tiger surprisingly killed a lion at the Ankara Zoo in Turkey. The tiger and the lion were housed next to each other in separate cages, and the tiger is said to have found a gap in the fencing between them. This allowed him to slip through to the lion’s cage. Once inside, the tiger cut the lion’s jugular vein on its neck with its claws in one swat, causing the lion to die.
This was a real, live incident, and history also shows us that tigers may be mightier than lions. Fights that featured tigers fighting lions took place at the Roman Coliseum, and as William Bridges, a curator of written publications at the Bronx Zoo during the 1950s once told a curious reader, “the smart money usually backed the tiger.â€
While there are no written documents to back up these claims that tigers naturally overpower lions when fighting to the death, art provides evidence. Paintings of life in ancient Rome can be found depicting the tiger winning these contests of might, and the lion losing.

That is not proof that they would necessarily win though. A weight advantage is just that... an advantage. It's not a guarantee to win.
Yes, size matters but it's not everything. A grown lion is more ferocious than a bear, imo, and definitely quicker and more agile. And it has a big hairy mane protecting it's most vulnerable area.
Originally posted by eThneoLgrRnaeI agree, but the fight in an animal will only get it so far, and twice the body weight is a big ask. Especially when a Kodiak Bear has a power to weight ratio pushing it to run speeds of 30mph at over a 1000 lbs and thicker fur. With Lions and Tigers, they are very similar and can even breed, they are that closely related. It depends on the Lion and Tiger possibly but a Siberian Tiger is a fair bit bigger. I am biased my Sak Yant is a Tiger, and because I am a Farrang I was given a modern Sak Yant of a Siberian Tiger.
