The guy from my story wasn't aggressive in any way, he was just following me around like a lap dog and continually complimenting my looks, the only thing that made me slightly uneasy was the fact that he'd look at me like he was a proud mother watching her kid play with building blocks, also didn't help that he sounded like he was from The Shire.

Now see if a straight guy was following around a petite woman and continually doing it and complimenting her looks I feel like nobody would bat an eye if she described the guy as aggressive. Do you disagree?

Why does the girl have to be petite in this scenario? I'm 6"2 and I towered over the guy for what it's worth. While I believe that there would be women who would describe a man like that as aggressive, I disagree that nobody would bat an eyelid. Sleazy, yes, Lecherous, perhaps, but not aggressive.

Could also be possible that men have a different scale for aggression than women do. I don't really consider someone as being aggressive unless they're threatening physical violence or trying to be imposing in an obvious way. Women may have a different set of rules.
