Happened just a couple of months back at the gym.
My experience is the gay men touch my butt. Sometimes resting their hand on my butt, sometimes just grabbing it.

The women usually touch or squeeze my butt, too. But only women have cupped or touched my crotch area. Doesn't bother me.
With the gay men, I remind them that I'm straight. For the women, I don't say anything. Women seem to be more timid about it and touch very briefly. I just ignore them. It's always drunk or fat or drunk and fat women.
