People in gulags get paid too.

With experience.

It's amazing that people still support Communism, than again, there are a lot of stupid people out there.

Those who support equality of outcome as opposed to equality of opportunity seem to love communism

Nobody here supports communism.

I didn't accuse anyone here of supporting it, but it is intriguing you felt me saying that was an accusation.

I do know certain sad souls have tried to defend the "star trek is communism" claim.

I bring that up because it shows a gross misunderstanding of communism and can perhaps explain why so many dipshits in the US kinda eye f*ck it

Like of course you'd be in favor of it if you're stupid enough to think star trek is communist, right?

star trek was socialist at times.

they din't even have currency in the federation during TNG. none of them were getting paid, surt.

know what jean luc picard's salary was? "dick"

Lol I forgot that Quark accepted feelings of tidings and good joy in his bar as payment, which is why so many star fleet folk could frequent it.

You want to keep going? 🙂

meanwhile, picard divulged in 'first contact' that the federation had no currency and no salaries.

also your silly post is irrelevant since ferengi trade in precious metals. picard said nothing about there being no federation safe full of latinum

Try not to think of me all weekend, Broly. Or do...

You were already proven wrong.

Did you want to continue? Just type out "star trek is communist" in your next post.

i said socialist, and the federation obviously had a socialist economic structure in the era of TNG.

maybe you should get madder and throw one of your tantrums over it..screeching and crying over star trek

Good, so you agree anyone calling them communists is an idiot 👆

Anyone here use Keurig machines?

I think they're overpriced toys with massively overpriced coffee, and most of it doesn't even taste that good.

I'm also on my third one. What can I say, I'm also very, very lazy. 🙂

But one thing that I can't wrap my head around, is how an obviously bad idea managed to become a "feature", before being wisely pulled.

I'm talking about a sensor they put in their machines, that won't allow you to use your machine if it doesn't read an "authorized" label on your Kcup. That means no more off brand cup, no more loose coffee packed in those Wallgreens containers. Essentially, a type of "Region locking".

So, what do you think customers did about it? What is the obvious work around here?

Cutting off the label, and using it to bypass the lock.

How, how, HOW did no one in corporate think of this? Its not even that hard, pair of scissors, some tape, you're good to go. I just don't understand it, these people get paid really good money, they're super educated, yet this never occured to them.

I was given one for free by an uncle years ago. He gave it to everyone one year for Christmas. Have never bought one myself.

The Metroid games are some of my favorite games.

I got every Metroid game on the GBA, and I had all 3 Primes, with #3 being my favorite.

I'm eagerly awaiting Metroid Prime 4.
