I used the code for "experimental movies" and one of them was this adult animated film called "My Entire High School is Sinking Into the Sea"

Intriguing.

😬

Oh wait it has Lena dunham lol

What's the point of paying for all of theses streaming services if you end up paying about the same as cable?

I was so glad to get rid of a cable bill.

For me right now paying for Netflix, Prime, and Hulu combined is still way cheaper than paying for cable.

I was paying $100+ per month for cable in the past. Now with all those streaming services I mentioned even combined I pay less than $40 a month.

I have Amazon Prime for students and I haven't touched it in months.

School and work are keeping me busy.

I'd like to watch shows on Netflix and Disney+.

It's just getting expensive.

Prices are increasing yes, but as of now it is still a lot cheaper than cable.

I also expect these places are aware people cut the cord and went to them because it was cheaper. So I think they will raise prices whenever they can while still making sure they can claim to be the cheaper alternative.

If you want netflix can you spare an extra 7 or 8 bucks a month? If so then try to convince a friend or something to go halfsies with you on an account.

I don't have any friends.

I feel extremely awkward now

I really should check out Amazon Prime during my winter break from school.

do you have a laptop at all? or a computer near a tv?

I use a laptop connected to a monitor.

Well not really a monitor, it's a Dynex TV I bought from Best Buy about 10 years ago.

I have AP and if not for the fast delivery I would have dropped probably over a year ago. Their Prime Movies and stuff just keeps getting greedier it seems. It almost as bad as youtubemovies. Tired of the Hey I could watch that crappy old classic no one remember....They Want 15 Bucks for it when I can get the dvd for 5?

Yeah. Not happening.

I was watching Unsolved Mysteries on AP and really liked it.

I should continue soon.

And I love Prime shipping, it's amazing.

There is something you could buy to let a laptop or pc connect to your tv so if need be you could torrent stuff and watch it on a tv

But yeah prime has some good stuff. Do u have a way to watch it on a tv?

I do like it for New Stuff that comes out. I like to Stream it before I decide if I buy physical.

They used to have lots of Fun Stuff on their Free Lists but that keeps getting smaller and smaller.

Bezo's Needs more Billions!

My laptop is connected to a 24 inch 1080p TV.

@Fly, I gave up physical media long ago: comics, movies, music, games.

And I'm not looking back, far more convenient and no storage hassles.

Okay good cuz Prime has certain things on it that are only free depending on how u watch it, cuz they are free via IMDB tv and it doesn't work with everything.

For instance it doesn't work with a roku box, but it does with a roku stick.

Pretty much the only place streaming Mad Men for free now is prime via IMDB tv.

FYI: all 3 karate kid movies are also available free on prime via imdb tv

In case u wanna catch up before the new season of cobra kai

Oh shit have u even seen it

I still like to hold my stuff an know that it can't be taken away from me...albeit I haven't bought but one New Comic this year. Last "New" movie I bought was Wonder Woman and Aquaman just so I could put it next to my Shazam dics. Other then that. I only buy old stuff.

Hence why I still have prime.
