Even for school I buy only the eTextbooks.

They're always cheaper, and with searching, highlighting, annotating, and text to voice, it's far better.

man, I remember the SCAM of "Buying" Texts in College. Total Rip Off!

It seems to have some academic books too. Not promising anything, but might be worth a try.

I have not seen Cobra Kai or any of the Karate Kid movies.

Are they worth watching?

I'm well aware things come and go on these streaming services.

Karate Kid movies are awesome and the Cobra Kai follow up is excellent

Unfortunately, for my program, each book comes with an access code which is needed for the online stuff.

And textbooks are a big scam, college kids are some of the poorest out there.

Even the bad KK movies have over the top villains that make the movies good.

Like in KK3 where the main villain who is a lex luthor type millionaire businessman goes "for the next few weeks my business is strictly revenge".

I may have to check them out, although lately my attention span is short.

Online forums do that to you.

Worse example that happened to me in school (Back when it was ALL Physical) I had to take a Psych Course and they made me Buy Books for it, and they were LITERALLY The Get 5 for a nickle type of Self Help Crap you could get at any book store.
And They wanted at least 20 bucks or More for one. I was pissed!

$20?

Some of my books are over $100.

They wanted 20 for a book that cost 5 new ina store.

That and the class was taught by an Old Hippy.

We had a used book store that sold all the previous semester stuff cheap. A professor insisted the students buy the new expensive edition instead, because reasons.

No one did, of course. Exact same material.

I wonder if the Professor was getting a kickback?

Probably.

Just like a dermatologist I went to that insisted I buy a name brand drug, and warned me off from believing the pharmacist telling me the ultra cheap generic is the exact same thing.

I always insist on getting the generic version of whatever medicine when possible.

As do I.

Except I always spring for Buckley's.

Stuff is fantastic.
