Yes, I have every Masters of the Universe and ThunderCats comic. The crossover took liberties with both properties, so it was not well-received by all fans. It is a creative use of the Ever-Living properties of Mumm-Ra, but Skeletor is already undead, so the Sword of Power would not have killed him. Lion-O calling a power that never existed and was created specifically for that comic is lame.

To be honest, that irked me too.

I thought Lion-O was written as the hero of the story, at He-Man's expense. He was killed out of the gate, he had to be resurrected, he had to have his brainwashing reversed. And even after becoming whole, he did a very stupid thing in stabbing Mummrator (Or Skelera, whatever they called it) in the chest, effectively GIVING HIM THE KEY TO THE ORB OF POWER.

And to top it off, the Eye of Thundara was used to filter the Power Sword, to defeat the villian.

So yeah, this was the Lion-O show.

Adam, one more question. You're probably the only one on the board who would get this, because I've asked before to crickets.

The 2002 reboot. He-Man vs Zodak. Who do you think would win a serious fight, at the power levels they were at during their meetings?

I keep going back and forth on this in my head. Zodak was the one who defeated Hiss, twice. And in their brief skirmish, he blocked the power sword and knocked it away.

I'm thinking Zodak was meant to be more powerful, at that point in the series.

Right, off to the North of Nigeria and no stable Internet for a while, adios my friends. Voitron, Whirly has left the building... at least for a while. It is safe for you to return.

sometimes i dont argue with people because their opinions are so off the wall crazy that there is just no reasoning with them.

Take Whirly for instance.

Sure he and i are usually on the same page politically, morally, ethically etc... But did u know that he not only thinks the Twilight movies are good films but also that they're better than the Harry Potter movies.

Thats just nuts.

How are u supposed to look past something like that and have a decent, rational conversation with them.

In the Mike Young Productions animated series, Zodak has the ability to identify and exploit the weakness of his opponent. Theoretically, he should be able to defeat almost anyone.

I literally have a He-Man screen name.

Interesting, did not know that.

I wonder why such a character was even introduced? I mean, strictly speaking, He-Man could have beaten King Hiss. Zodak was hardly necessary to the story, he's just someone they seemed to add, because they could.

Zodak is one of the original eight Masters of the Universe characters. He is a cosmic enforcer, tasked with maintaining neutrality in the universe.

King Hsss is a prehistoric evil, and supremely powerful. He magically controls Serpos, the ancient god of the Snakemen.

King Hsss defeats Skeletor and the Sorceress, and He-Man then needs the assistance of Zodak to defeat him, to establish how powerful he is, so it is more impressive later when He-Man and Skeletor both defeat King Hsss on their own.

So plans for the future seasons, but didn't get to happen because it was cancelled?

Zodak got a better deal then his 2012 comic counterpart, that's for sure. That cosmic enforcer was killed by Hordak in a one shot.

morning!

KMC is now a left wing echo chamber and the discord they made is a right wing echo chamber. Oh well.

Honestly, I think that's where the world's heading to generally, and perhaps that's a good thing. We need to stop pretending that such vastly differing ideologies can live alongside each other. They're just too different, and in a democracy they will always clash, with any real progress being offset by way too much nonsense along the way to be considered 'functional'.

Let's go back to city states. Let's do it. It'd be awesome. Free exit, experimentalism, radicalism. Unity is a myth, a joke. Political segregation time, son.

I'm registered for the Yorkshire party 🙂

so basically if someone posts a political opinion of a left-persuasion, and no tiny gang is there to immediately harass, gaslight, make personal accusations, insult their families, etc; that means that this is a leftist echo chamber.

That’s a good point. Most of the discussion here before was just trolling and harassing. It’s better now.

the lack of all the artificial traffic shows how dead the gdf really is, and yet it also shows how surprisingly still active it is.
