I'm kind of wondering that myself. Especially with about three or four Whirly bait threads out there, not all that sure how LR crossed a line on the parent ranting against socialism in schools.
👆
Let's see if the mod who closed it ever owns up to it and gives a reasonable explanation for why it was closed when whirly is allowed to make several bait threads almost everyday.
Oh, and cdtm, her main rant was against critical race theory, not socialism. Though she did bring up comunism (which is just a more extreme form of socialism) and marxism in her justified attack on it.
Considering that it is in fact mostly socialists, communists, and marxists who push that CRT bs then yeah, I guess she was indirectly attacking socialism but really, who can blame her? LOL.

So, it was closed due to discussion of race, not because of left/right politics.Makes sense.
If AA is fair game, CRT should be.
The Frankfurt school in general is highly politicized. Between the well meaning leftists, and the Right who understands how the left has been duped.
Or that's my non-parrisan take on it. 🙂
The thread (and the video within) wasn't about "race", it was about that racist neo-marxist CRT crap being forced onto children. It was exposing racism. It wasn't actually racist itself.
But of course any snowflake leftist (including a forum moderator, apparently lol) who agres with CRT would claim it was racist because that's how dumb they are.
CRT actually teaches children to be racists.

I don’t know what you’re talking about.
You know all the talk about white privilege, micro-aggressions, and all the other things the activists and professors and such talk about? That all has roots at a place called the Frankfurt School, and "Critical Race Theory" is the method they use.
Race, gender, ableism, all of it has inspirations from CRT and the Frankfurt School.
Basically, if its about oppression and educating you how its oppressive, and it uses all kinds of new terms you never heard of before or makes a lot of assumptions about human behavior, that's where they get it from.

Spot on.
Originally posted by cdtmwell, ok, but as I understand it, the racial theories in the past are so inaccurate, it’s not even worth studying and is ridiculed countlessly.

I have already downloaded that video to my phone and my laptop's hard drive so even if it is scrubbed from social media I will still always have it. 🙂
And I will contine to share it with everyone I know and even strangers on the internet. The overlords of social media can't stop me from doing so nor can any cowardly, chickenshit, little neo-marxist forum moderators.

Man Fined for Trying to Fight Grizzly Bear
A visitor to Banff National Park wanted to wrestle a grizzly. He was lucky to make it out unscathed, says an expert.

Here at BACKPACKER, we’ve covered a handful of incidents of bears mauling humans. But a human trying to attack a bear? That’s a first.A case involving a man taunting a grizzly bear in Banff National Park in 2015 finally came to trial last week after the defendant missed two previous court dates. The judge fined Devin Mitsuing, who was seen yelling and throwing rocks at a grizzly beside a park road, CAD$4,000.
According to witnesses, Mitsuing and a companion pulled over beside the Icefields Parkway and began shouting at the young grizzly on June 5, 2015. Photographs of the incident show the distance between Mitsuing and the bear to be no more than a handful of yards. Then, Mitsuing removed his shirt and assumed a boxing stance, taunting the bear. Mitsuing, who police said was intoxicated, eventually began to run at the bear, which fled into the woods.
“This falls into the category of ‘stupid human tricks’ where people out of sync with nature put themselves and wildlife at risk for a coveted selfie or photo with a bear,” said bear biologist Tom Smith.
According to Smith, who has studied human-bear interactions for over two decades, such an incident could lead to the person becoming seriously injured and the bear being killed as a result. Or, “if not killed, the bear may repeat this behavior with other, unsuspecting persons who simply pulled over to take a photo and now suffer the indiscretions of others.”
Money from Mitsuing’s $4,000 fine will go toward Canada’s Environmental Damages Fund, which fund conservation and environmental restoration projects.
“Although the bear didn’t pay him any attention, fortunately the judge did and he threw the book at this shirtless ninja,” said Smith. “Not sure what I can say other than score: bear 1, human 0.”

My faith in the endless stupidity of man is restored.
And as a bonus, I learned grizzly's are smarted then most, as this one knew enough to ignore the crazed petite animal. Probably didn't want to risk getting rabies.
