Do you ever get the feeling the people in charge don't really know what they're doing?

I don't just mean national/world government politics, I'm talking your local mayor, or businesses and such.

The Branford town food bank lost the guy who ran the show brilliantly for decades to retirement, and they threw this middle aged woman into the role who admitted she has no ****ing clue what she's doing. Are you kidding me? You really just throw a random person at a job and say "Good luck"?

So looks like the latest hoax being pushed by the government is about supposed UFO's. Sadly, it loooks like Tucker Carlson is falling for it. Alex Jones isn't though.

The only type of aliens we really have are the illegal kind.

Speaking of immigrants, did you hear about an 85% hispanic Texas electing a Republican mayor?

https://www.dailywire.com/news/democrats-panic-as-republicans-celebrate-mayoral-win-in-town-that-is-85-latino-were-in-big-trouble?itm_source=parsely-api&utm_source=cnemail&utm_medium=email

Democrats panicked over the election results, with Sawyer Hackett, Executive Director of Julian Castro’s People First Future, wrote on Twitter: “A GOP county chair just won a race for mayor of McAllen, Texas, a city that’s 85% Latino. Hillary won the county by 40 points. If the Democratic Party doesn’t get serious about Latino outreach, we’re in big trouble.”

^Nice. 👆

Them needy latinos are at it again! **** them.

Ummm, wrong again. The idiot Alex Jones believes in extraterrestrial aliens, believes there's a secret "alien base" in San Francisco and that US "astronaut level people" take large quantities of drugs to communicate with these aliens to make "Intergalactic deals".

If you don't believe me, hear it from Alex Jones himself:

I'm not entertaining you and your butt buddies BS anymore, Rob. Those days are over with.

You all are like chump change to me now. Not worth the effort.

Now you're running in fear from an Alex Jones video and he's your hero. What a boob.

I know with Surtur and Broly gone you have a desperate need to find someone else to quibble with on this shitty forum to help fulfill your pathetic, insignificant purpose in life but you won't get any such satisfaction from me... not anymore.

They never left, they've been socking since day one. Anyhow.

The video is actually funny, shows you just how unhinged Alex Jones is and how idiotic someone has to be to take what he says seriously.

He has obviously never been to San Francisco. Just where does he think there is space for a secret alien base exactly?

Well it's secret, duh!

But that's the type of snake oil his typed peddles, they came make claim after claim as fact, while never having to prove a thing. He does it because his idiot followers never put him to the test.

Saw a weird insurance commercial. It had a kid working out at a home gym set set up right outside a garage.

Who the heck does that? Sets up a gym set in the elements, right where the neighborhood could see?

I would have 20 years ago, I used to have a smiths machine in the garage and open the garage door onto the road.

But it was IN the garage, right?

This was set up right in front of the garage doors. One of those bulky Smith machines, so not that easy to slide out of the way of a car on a moments notice.

From what my Dad told me it wasn't that uncommon in the 80s to see lots of guys with home gym equipment like benches that they would take out into the drive way to workout on if it was a nice day

A security expert on the pipeline ransom is going on about innocuous seeming apps being potentially dangerous.

Isn't that basic internet security 101? Did they have any security AT ALL?

Was everyone too busy playing WoW or Minecraft or something?

Don't be surprised if it turns out Security was considered an after thought where leadership decided cost savings were more important than the risk.

It happens a lot in businesses large enough to run large IT shops internally but still consider technology a business expense instead of a part of the business.

Isnt the govt still treating illegal immigrants the same? Why the lost coverage?
