The GDF Septic Tank (Official Off Topic)

Finally started playing Batman Arkham City after all these years lol.

Haven't gotten very far into it yet but I can already tell it is a much deeper game than Arkham Asylum (which I loved).

Getting Riddler trophies, for example, are much more complicated. Batman also has many more combat moves and gadgets than he did in Asylum.

You also get to play as Catwoman (who looks hot lol) in parts of the story as well and there is Harley Quinn, Robin, and Nightwing dlcs in addition. I can already tell this game is gonna take up sooooooo many hours of my life lol.

I know this is yet another game in which I'll never be able to get the Platinum trophy. Those hard ass extreme combat challenges will stop me from getting it just as they did in the first game. All other trophies in game I'll eventually get though assuming I live long enough. Just gonna take a really long time.

It's too bad that there aren't really any good Superman games out there to play. He is easily my favorite fictional character of all time and yet they can't even make a good videogame with him in in it.

Batman is cool and all but I want a good Superman game, dammit!

Injustice gets a lot of good praise but I suck at it as I do all fighting games.

A Superman game would probably be hard because of how overpowers he is. They’d have to come up with a reason to nerf him so the game would be fun.

What if he got Super-AIDS?

Edited....

I realize that, yes, it is harder to make a good Superman game than a good Batman one because of how powerful he is. I'm sure some smart game devs could come up with a way to do it without having to nerf him too much. Maybe they could make a game where he is somehow transported to a magical realm or something. He would still have all his powers but the enemies would be much more dangerous to him.

Then there's always Apokolips of course. Darkseid is plenty enough of a challenge for him. They could make a game based on the Hunter/Prey storyline and tweak it a bit so Superman had to fight both Darkseid (the real one, not some lame ass avatar) and Doomsday, for example, at different parts of the game. Though not at the same time of course lol.

Fixed.... couldn't edit.

How about a super video game where Superman strokes his super dick, during the super bowl. ermm

You'd probably like that, yeah.... not me though.

It would be funny. XD

Well at least they called it by its proper name-- soccer, not "football". 😉

Atari had a best selling Superman game for the original console. I got it for Christmas in 81 or 80

5/7

I vaguely remember that game.... it was pretty sucky from what I remember. The old Spider-Man game on Atari where you have to web your way up a tall building and fight, iirc, Green Goblin was much more memorable.

How about Superman 64 where you have to fly through rings?

Who's turnin' 64?

will you still need me?
will you still feed me?

My views have changed slightly on the current day nation of Israel. I am now unsure of some things that I thought I was certain of before.

I am still pro-Israel for the most part, simply because they have been our allies for so long and they still need our support because they are surrounded by enemies who hate them and want them dead.

However, I no longer base my support of them on Bible verses that I have since discovered I didn't fully understand. The elect and/or saints talked about in the Bible are actual Bible-believing, born again, fundamentalist Christians, not Jewish people who still reject Jesus Christ.

Btw, I have pretty much always known this. It is not one of those things in the Bible that I was referring to that I misinterpreted.

You see, I am not so hard-headed that I can't admit when I'm wrong. 😉

So the Old Testament actually named Christians and not Jews as God's "chosen people" about 1,000 years before Christians were even a thing...

😆
