as I recall, you’re a Texan, so Texas style chili would be close, I guess. Each to their own, but I’d love to have that with some cornbread.

😛

You are missing out, be it thai, Pakistani, Indonesian, Malaysian, Cambodian, Mongolian, Indian or many of the other variants Curry is king. I would start with one of the old standards and not too spicy maybe Thai green or an Indian Korms and if you enjoy try something spicier. In India particularly as with Chinese food you could argue a meal is all about the starters and side dishes as much as the main. So poppadoms, breads and bargies are key.

Korms=Korma

Whirly, you neglected the many Caribbean curries and Brazilian curries, you fool!

I’m one of those Texans who puts beans in their chili. I’ve been cooking and adjusting my dad’s recipe for years and I love it. I also NEVER buy instant cornbread mix. My cornbread is homemade from scratch.

id love to have that privilege.

I was stationed in Germany in 1999 and I remember the delicious wurst made there. I miss it and really want to visit there again. I had so much fun.

Also, German beer makes American beer look like dish water.

Yeah, German, Austrian and Belgium are my faves. Did you try Weissbeer?

When it comes to American beer, IPAs are the only one worth going for.

I went to America, California, Nevada and Arizona. Their beers are awful unless you get a strong ale. It’s like they don’t know how to make a strong lager.

My favorite beer is Smithwick’s Irish Red Ale. Simply delicious and savory.

Heineken goes perfectly with a fat, juicy steak.

Budweiser goes very well with crawfish, boudin, and a gumbo.

for me the mighty Hofbrau range is number 1.

Aww, Imp, you need to get better beer. I mean, you’re Texan, surely you’ve had Mexican beers?

Dos Equis Amber is f*cking delicious with carne asada and arroz con pollo.

And now they’re on my bucket list. 👆

seems like a pretty low budget bucket list

One item on my bucket list is to go to Manhattan and New Jersey so I can try authentic NY style pizza and Italian food.

I'm a stout man myself. Any good mexican chocolates or coffee's?

A room temperature Guinness stout is delicious but I can only drink it every so often. Not regularly.

Jack Daniel’s is my favorite whiskey. I love two fingers on the rocks or with Coca-Cola.

Bombay Sapphire gin is great, too. I like gin & tonic or gin & orange juice.
