I don't really agree with Mike Pence on most things, but I respect him for sticking to his principles and not letting Trump and his droogs make him do something unconstitutional.

Dunno, man. He had to call Dan Quayle for advice and Quayle was all like 'Why are you even asking this question, Michael, or course you don't abuse the power of your office and break the law to overthrow a lawful election'.

The legal, moral and logical thing to do was right in front of him the whole time.

I freaking blew out my collar bone last year with weighted dips, it literally sounded like cracking a chicken thigh bone.

I got crunchy shoulders and knees.

Creaky sounds from knees. Long distance running.

Also gave me butchered tendons or some such resulting in many ankle twists, but calves became seriously built up to compensate.

I crack the cartilage in my neck every day. It freaks people out, but it's nothing, really.

Repeat stress injuries are a b***h.

Also when I was younger and stupider, I would push myself too hard. Going up in weight too quickly and/or just pushing too much weight, not taking enough rest between sets.. At a very lean 175-180lbs, I would press a 100lbs bar in each hand over my head for 8-10 reps to max out. Terrible for the shoulders.

Idk, back in my teen years, I'd shoulder press 30-40kg which is about the same weight. I still have bulky shoulders, it makes my biceps look small by comparison.

I'm more of a leg man anyway. When I used to play football people were scared to get near me because of my powerful thighs. Like, if I tackled someone, they'd fly over me and whine and I'd be like, "I got the ball. Play on."

And I was only 160lbs

We are going to have to come up with an old person workout.

That was 100lbs dumbbell in each hand, meaning 200lbs (91kg) overall.

But bravo if you were doing similar at that weight 👆

I'm just more careful overall and I've gone down in weight for some things. eg I don't do dumbbells in each hand for shoulder press anymore, I use the machine, puts far less stress on the shoulder joints.

I may try the dumbbells again from time to time just to see.

Oh no, sounds like you were doing double what I was doing. You mad bastard! XD

My military press was 275 but as time moves I get more concerned about life mobility 😮

I probably could have pushed another 10-20% with a straight bar, the individual weights make it harder, at least for me. having to balance each arm independent while pushing.

Me too! I've had ops on both.

Yeah dips do that, they can also hurt the sternum and rotators weighted.

I still believe in going heavieish, my body only really responds to a heavy weight if I am honest.

I used to think that my upper arms were super skinny no matter how many reps I did, turned out from friends comments that it was just my perspective and I'd actually given myself rugby ball biceps all the while thinking I wasn't gaining much muscle mass. Suppose that's one benefit of joining a gym, I'd have had that pointed out to me a lot sooner.

Yeah, Gyms, Personal Trainers and nutritionists have there place tbh.

My biceps are still skinny compared to my triceps and shoulders, but I think they're still above average. When I gym'd I used to love the shoulder press and press ups.

But like I said earlier, my thighs are huge. Like, whenever I'm in a fight and I have to punch someone, I'll jump a split second before dealing the blow and they fly yards away. It's quite funny seeing the shocks on everyone's faces. My best technique is walking away only to do a jumping round house kick to the head of someone sneaking up behind me.They don't mess with me after that. 😂

what are huge thighs for you?

Muscly and dense. I used to do a lot of squats, kicks and running as a kid, so my quads are quite bulky.
