Oh I agree that government of today is encroaching on all of our God-given rights more and more as times goes on but that doesn't mean the concept of a limited government is faulty.

If the smallest government turned into the biggest of all time and no government has ever of it's own Accord shrunk how can we think the small government approach is something that can be maintained when reality has shown us otherwise ?

This why you see riots, destruction of the family, rampant drug use, godlessness, etc.
