If you are a grow-er, then your flaccid size would never approach your erect size in a completely flaccid state. So the only way a four-inch range is possible, is if you are describing an aroused state.
Something between completely flaccid and completely hard, which is why I suggested you may be experiencing erectile dysfunction. If you had consistently full and firm erections, you would go from four inches flaccid to eight inches hard. There would not be a range.
I am a grow-er too, but I am also bigger flaccid than most guys are erect, so it works out for me.

Not so. Scientists are often front line R&D and marketing for businessmen. The proof is in our food pyramid. The fruits and vegetables portions are far too low, while the grains and meat portions of a diet are far too large. This is because the grain and meat industries have powerful lobbies and make big bucks.
Ideally the pyramid should he flipped on its head.
So it is the same with the MIT study. In the 1970's, businessmen were already exploring the profit making potential of going green. This MIT study that pronounced doomsday in all scenerios unless we go green was meant to grease the wheels of a budding cash cow industry.
And now we have overpriced hybrid cars, that the US President himself is promoting to replace all standard vehicles (Perhaps in completely good faith, fooled like everyone else by the call of "science", all paid for with government money to benefit capitalists who take their public research and line their pockets)
