Hey, when I was younger I thought I was that high, then I got measured and even though I'm 5'9 I was still taller than average. So, I guess you could say I'm the tallest hobbit. 😛
Also, short guys lie about their height because they are treated like shit, lol. Instead of complaining about short guys trying to get in on what it's like to be taller, why shouldn't people just stop treating short men like garbage? If there's no stigma against being short, there's no reason for them to lie about it.
Also, as far as wrestling goes probably the best piece of evidence I can think of is Batista, who is billed at 6'6" but was measured at 6'4" for his MMA fight so we can fairly confidently say that is probably his real height. And I've heard that for most wrestlers they add about two inches, with a few exceptions like Andre the Giant who was about 6'10" or 11" and listed as 7'5" so he'd be the tallest athlete in the world at the time or some shit, because his huge size was the gimmick.

Nope, Andre was 7'4", and advertised as 8 feet tall
Wasn't he promoted more as 7 feet, 5 inches?

Actual true height was 6'9 according to Dave Meltzer.
Oh man, it's worse. The attacker was apparently intending to kill him.
The Los Angeles Police Department early Wednesday confirmed the attack, saying the weapon the man was carrying can eject a knife blade "when you discharge it correctly." It is unclear if the fan made an attempt to use the weapon.
