Thor’s experience with Loki, who’s a much more powerful version of Mysterio makes him ideal for tricksters. For example, he can set Mjolnir to attack through illusions, making Mysterio is a one shot kill. As a matter of fact, he’s even learned basic magic and faked his death with an illusion that Malekith couldn’t see through. Technically speaking, he’s probably better at illusions than Mysterio with that feat.
I Dek how Sandman is a threat. He’s a less powerful Asborbing Man, that’s an easy win too.
