It would have been a drawn out fight in the courts as McConnell said early on he wasn't interested in hearing any of it. McConnell decided.

McConnell rejects Schumer's call for witnesses at impeachment trial

McConnell also had enough votes in the Republican controlled Senate do set the rules he wanted.

Trump not all that long ago begged Xi to help him win in 2020, Trump's not going to do a thing about this.

Why did you post this as if it was a fact?

Trump ordered Bolton not to testify in the House, then McConnell blocked him in the Senate

Other people Trump ordered not to testify did so anyways. Bolton didn't.

Speaks volumes, so I'd advise you not to keep trying to make excuses for his lack of integrity and obvious grifter status.

Forget McConnell, this would have been a drawn out fight the House could have won. What was the rush?

I notice you didn't react like this to Bolton's claims about Trump and Xi.

I've been reading Bolton's book.

I laughed.

@Surt You're free to not believe Bolton's claims against Trump and that is fine. But deep down inside, you probably do believe them.

Why do so many Republican's who worked with Trump turn on him and say many of the same thing though?

Nah, I don't believe them, but you tried. Just don't pretend his claims are facts in the future 👆

Cue your cheerleader now.

^Dodged multiple questions, then says this.

I laughed 🙂

Another dodge of a question asking for his opinion/view. Very telling. Your cowardice has been noted.

So by your own logic you're a coward.

I enjoy it when you self own 🙂

Asking for citations isn't dodging.

How many pretend victories does that make for you today though?

You dodged questions multiple times in this thread.

So once again, by your own logic, you're a coward.

IOW: it's okay for you to dodge, special rules and all.

Do I need to repeat the questions?

Why do so many Republican's who worked with Trump turn on him and say many of the same thing though?

This is easy:

Because Trump is a narcissistic, emotionally immature, miscreant.

But many of the same people who get kicked out of the Trump-Club have similar personalities so it turns into pissy/hissy high school girl drama.

Why do you ask? I thought this was common knowledge among anyone who knew anything about Trump's Presidency?
