The country hurts during an impeachment, it's best to have it done as fast as possible. eg the Clinton Impeachment

I don't need to provide a citation, the question speaks for itself. Just like no citation is required when I ask why you're acting like claims from a disgruntled ex employee are fact. Yet you dodged that too, and I'm even gonna allow the hypocrisy of that.

So I can't tell if you're being disingenuous or just naive. You don't think at least part of the reason they wanted to rush it through was so they could get it done before the election? And not because they were worried about hurting the country, but because they wanted to hurt trumps chances of winning again. If they were concerned about hurting the country they would have never impeached in the first place and would have merely let voters decide in November 2020.
