That's not even getting started on the whole Sunlight powering up skin and bone thing.Experiments exist that make animals and people go crazy.
Drugs and plants etc etc also exist that make people go nuts, these are actual real things that have been done tested and used in and outside of labs, I believe there IS life out there in the universe, but I don't for one second believe there is life anywhere near as advanced as Krytonian life.Like technically all aliens and us benefit from the sun.
but red sunlight vs yellow sunlight vs blue sunlight makes absolutely zero sense, basing your powers on colors means nothing
all sorts of blue red and yellow suns have different combinations of elements and radiation they give off.
Have you not read Superman? In multiple incarnations Jor-El picks a planet he knows Superman will have powers on. Even the movies have referenced it.
Your belief isn't the same as mine.
When did I say Superman was actually realistic? Note. I didn't.

Sun can give you cancer.
1. If it was just the sun that cause cancer, people from the Caribbean, Africa, Central America, SA and India would have the highest rates of cancer in the world. They don't they have the lowest.
2. Skin cancer first appeared in the 1800 which is incidentally when industrial pollution, factories, eating spoiled food and people started getting less sunlight in the west.
3. It's a know fact that Vit D is actually good for the skin and is really a hormone directly responsible for over 170 functions in the body
4.The correct answer should be pollution along with the excessive sun bathing on people not genetically predisposed to absorbing sunlight causes skin cancer. Here's proof
(Introduction. Skin cancer is the most common malignancy in the United States and represents ~ 35–45% of all neoplasms in Caucasians (Ridky, 2007), 4–5% in Hispanics, 2–4% in Asians, and 1–2% in Blacks (Halder and Bridgeman-Shah, 1995; Gloster and Neal, 2006).
Also it takes serious lvl of sun exposure to get skin cancer. I could go on but I don't want to waste time typing a 20 pg diatribe on the real cause of skin cancer suffice to say anyone interested can look on environmental causes of cancers and do a statistically study and find people in less industrialize countries tend to have significantly less cancers than people from the west.

This is all nonsense. A super powerful alien race is much more plausible

Both are nonsense. Like most comics - even ‘sensible’ characters like Batman and Captain America are, in reality, ridiculously impossible. And that’s before we even go to characters that have bones laced with a heavy metal, characters that can stretch, characters made of living rock, etc.
But back to Hulk and Superman.
Both are nonsense, although Superman can be explained by ‘he’s an alien’ as PR said. As to why Earth - well, because his father knew he’d be as a god here. Why sunlight? Well, plants use photosynthesis to create energy. It is shown in photovoltaics that one can generate significant energy from the sun. And as for different colors - blue and white suns have more energy than redder suns.
How does that make someone fly? Not really, which is why I said it’s nonsense, but it does work once you consider the ‘he’s an alien’ argument.
Now - the Hulk.
First of all he’s an impossibility. You claim experiments exist where plants and animals can ‘go crazy,’ but that doesn’t hold water here. The Hulk doesn’t just go crazy. He gains mystery mass from another dimension, is tapping into strength from another dimension, etc etc. That is NOT someone ‘getting angry.’
Not to mention - the existence of an alien species that uses some sort of solar-based photovoltaic power charging makes MUCH more sense than the belief blasting a human with gamma rays will make them strong.
The whole gamma blast on a human instantly disqualifies the Hulk ....not to mention his magic expanding pants (at least for Superman they use his ‘bio aura’ nonsense to explain why his clothes don’t get messed by bullets, but for the Hulk ...he wears mutant pants).
They are both silly - but one (Superman) is high school silly and the other (Hulk) is more kindergarten silly.

Yo, you have to learn how to separate fiction from reality. Even if aliens existed, they would not be superhuman in a universe that would not support things of that nature. Neither of them make sense. Night Crawler, a much weaker character doesn't even make sense.

my biggest pet peeve is i can't stand people who defend Superman
people in the past when nuclear bombs were dropped were exposed to the after radiation and ended up mutating a little bit because of it even fish in the ocean or lakes some ended up growing bigger than normal or had more than 1 head THERE'S documentaries on what has happened as an after effect of a nuclear bomb being dropped and what it did to some humans and animals, Hulk makes more sense, period.
you don't think being doped up doesn't give you other personas then you are mistaken
