When you attack organic steel the path used in the blows is more clear to Colossus than to others. Sort of like Cages skin being more impervious.

Claremont has written most of Colossus' apearances, he's written him and the X-Men for two decades and sometimes still works for Marvel.

Claremont's Colossus is the most accurate portrayal of the character we've got.

Little has been said about what happens to Colossus’s opponents when he gets the upper hand. If he steps on Thor’s neck and rips his face off Thor could throw the hammer all day but he won’t be able to see where to throw it.
