Best shooting feats

Depends on how the sectors are distributed. Consider a Rubik's cube, for example. The cube consists of 27 smaller cubes (well, not really, but it looks that way from the outside). The distance from one side of the Rubik's cube to the other is only equal to 3 smaller cubes, i.e. cube root(27) = 3.

Similarly, if we consider DCU to be a big "Rubik's cube" and the 3600 sectors to be the smaller cubes it consists of, then the DCU is only cube root(3600) = 15.3 sectors across (or 15x15x16 if we want integers). This makes each sector 200/15.3 = 13 trillion light years across.

This is how the sectors are distributed, if that helps:

The Killer would probably be my pick as far as more 'earthly' characters are concerned.

Ok, thanks.

Unfortunately, such a structure makes it impossible to quantify the shooting feat exactly. Oa is at the center; all the sectors start from there and extend radially outwards. Since all the sectors converge at Oa then on the surface of Oa you could cross three sectors simply by travelling a couple of hundreds of kilometres. This is the lower limit of the shooting distance. Then as you move (radially) away from Oa the distance between sectors increases proportionally, and becomes several trillions of light years at the "outer edge" of the universe.

So we can only say that the shooting distance was somewhere between hundreds of kilometres and trillions of light years. That's quite a poor precision.

How is it possible to be hundreds of kilometers if it's 3 sectors away though

He's saying that because all sectors converge on Oa.

That said, one of the main reasons why Bedovian was selected for the SC was because of his unique ability to "see across sectors"(which is why he was the SC's sniper):

And even before he was a member of the SC, and not on any sniper missions, Bedovian was casually observing a small spacecraft from 7 light years away:

So I still fully believe the shots were happening from many, many light years away... Especially since Bedovian's hidey-hole appeared to be deep in sector 3, while John was just above Oa.

When you're on OA you're basically looking at the sectors longitudinally [i.e. the length if the known Universe] which makes it potentially even more impressive than shooting it from one massive cluster of galaxies to the next as it wouls be from one sector to another.

It's like the difference between shooting from the center of the Earth to LA, or shooting from Washington to LA [the difference is much smaller in this example but the point should be clear]

Does OA count as a sector? Because if it doesn't the best you can is travel 2 sectors crossing hundreds of miles

OA is the the center of all sectors origin point.

OK I think I got what magnon is talking about now,

Because that's how far apart the sectors are from each other on the surface of the planet Oa. Think of the surface of Oa being divided into 3600 regions or "countries": loosely speaking, a space sector is defined as all the sky that is "above" a given region. A more detailed explanation follows.

Lets assume that Oa was transparent and you were at the center (or core) of the planet: if you look at the planet's surface you'll see these 3600 regions and their borders. Think of the borders of a given region as a window frame, defining a window to the universe. Through each "window" you can then see a portion of the universe: these are the 3600 different space sectors.

Obviously, near the surface of planet Oa, the space sectors are only some hundreds of kilometers apart.

I SAID I GOT IT!!!!

Jk nice explanation 👆

Should we keep this thread smaller than a shitload of galaxies range? Only on Earth?

Cyclops has some pretty insane ricochet shots in his resume.

This ft is freaking insane.

What they don’t tell you is it even picked her teeth first.

Imagine if that was Hulks head.

😂

I always liked Ultimate Hawkeye's feat of killing multiple people by flicking his fingernails at them.

Also when Deadshot shot a specialized bullet into the chest plate of an advanced mech-armor, then shot a second bullet through the same exact spot in order to destroy it... All while free falling from a mile high.
