Kong was described as an adolescent/teenager during the events of Skull Island, which took place during the Vietnam War(1973). He continued to grow in the decades between then and present day. The size we see him at now was presumably what he reached before Ghidorah showed up, but as Kong is also an Alpha, he ignored the call to arms and stayed on the island during King of the Monsters. So the answer is definitely Kong grew, but by how much isn't known. And its possible they shrunk Big G by some amount too.
I've heard some weird theories about Godzilla's size in this. One guy on YouTube speculated that the version of Godzilla we see in the trailer is not the one from previous films but a younger specimen (as there have been multiple Godzillas in some past films as well), and that the one from previous films died after its fight with Ghidorah because of the strain going full nuclear at the end took on its body. Seems like a stretch to me though.
But yeah, if one looks at the earlier post I made comparing Kong's size in that promo poster for Skull Island and him in a similar position in the trailer, it's clear that Kong's size has increased massively.

Legendary got 250 million from WB to release it on HBO max. The movie only cost 160 and prob another 40 million for advertisement etc and yeah.
Oh right so Legendary has made profit from it. And Thats fixed. Cant go up or down. WB can certainly make a huge loss on it though. Given theyve spent $250million on it now. Not counting any additional marketing they do.

allegedly the Godzilla shown in the trailer isn't really him
Yes it is.
Godzilla is most likely on a rampage because he’s trying to destroy Apex and Mechagodzilla, Kong just gets in his way. Mecha G is probably made using the brain of the Ghidorah head that survived, Godzilla senses this and wants to destroy him.
The theory that the Godzilla we see in the trailer is actually Mechagodzilla is pretty stupid, imo. It’s pretty clearly the real Godzilla.

All you're doing is repeating some of the leaks that are floating around.

im sure a shit ton of people will torrent it..

I dont know if its been mentioned but some theaters allow you to "rent" a room for a technically private screening.
im not sure if any theater out here in L.A. is doing that but will check..

Yeah I still think it’s stupid. All the fans want to see Kong fight Godzilla, not Mecha G. And do you really think they just wrapped Mecha G in an entire suit of Gojira skin?
MechaGodzilla being disguised as the real Godzilla via fake skin is directly from Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla (1974).

no idea as i said ALLEGEDLY in my original post. also they better fight all throughout the film prior to destroying MechaGodzilla

Fair enough.
Not sure how I feel about MechaGodzilla being introduced, but it kinda makes sense if they're going the path I've suspected from the start. G & K fight for a bit to see whose dick is bigger, there's no clear winner and then they team up to take on the real threat, that being MG, who's under the control of some nefarious group bent on killing the titans or some shit.
