Godzilla vs Kong

I've heard some weird theories about Godzilla's size in this. One guy on YouTube speculated that the version of Godzilla we see in the trailer is not the one from previous films but a younger specimen (as there have been multiple Godzillas in some past films as well), and that the one from previous films died after its fight with Ghidorah because of the strain going full nuclear at the end took on its body. Seems like a stretch to me though.

But yeah, if one looks at the earlier post I made comparing Kong's size in that promo poster for Skull Island and him in a similar position in the trailer, it's clear that Kong's size has increased massively.

Oh right so Legendary has made profit from it. And Thats fixed. Cant go up or down. WB can certainly make a huge loss on it though. Given theyve spent $250million on it now. Not counting any additional marketing they do.

Godzilla is most likely on a rampage because he’s trying to destroy Apex and Mechagodzilla, Kong just gets in his way. Mecha G is probably made using the brain of the Ghidorah head that survived, Godzilla senses this and wants to destroy him.

The theory that the Godzilla we see in the trailer is actually Mechagodzilla is pretty stupid, imo. It’s pretty clearly the real Godzilla.

Its the only way to watch movies in my opinion. I hate going to theaters and i'm not paying for streaming services.

My gf and I already have HBO max so we’re watching it on there. Gonna order a whole mess of food, grab some beers and have ourselves a grand ol time

Would really rather watch this in a theater, but I doubt they'll be open in my area come March.

So home it is, I'll invite a small group of close friends, we'll do dinner and a movie.

I dont know if its been mentioned but some theaters allow you to "rent" a room for a technically private screening.

MechaGodzilla being disguised as the real Godzilla via fake skin is directly from Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla (1974).

Godzilla v MechaGodzilla is one my fave monster movies.

I’m just sharing my opinion. Fictional movies should still be logical. I don’t think it would make any sense for Mechagodzilla to be the Godzilla we see in the trailer.

Fair enough.

Not sure how I feel about MechaGodzilla being introduced, but it kinda makes sense if they're going the path I've suspected from the start. G & K fight for a bit to see whose dick is bigger, there's no clear winner and then they team up to take on the real threat, that being MG, who's under the control of some nefarious group bent on killing the titans or some shit.
