Donald Trump Presidency Thread

Like who do you think was expecting that among the pundits lauding the big gap(which is now gone) between him and biden?

Not pundits so much but people who deal in polling and numbers have expected the race to tighten. Nate Silver and people like him.

And who did Nate have winning in 2016? Not a gotcha, I genuinely do not recall.

Clinton. But he can hardly be blamed for that. He did give trump a better chance at winning the election than most. I think on Election Day he gave trump a 35% chance to win.

Lol. Okay so if this was a footrace he was 1,000 feet behind the winner when the winner crossed the finish line, but everyone else was 10,000 feet behind.

I guess that is a silver lining for someone in his line of work. "Not as wrong as the other guys!".

Well it wasn’t really possible to look at all the polls putting Clinton ahead and come to the logical conclusion that trump was the favorite. All he does is look at polls and create odds based on those. He doesn’t do his own polls or anything.

Considering at the time some similar sites have Clinton a 99% chance to win, while he was saying people are making a mistake counting Trump out, I think he did pretty well.

But it doesn’t really matter. Point is the face is tightening and will probably continue to tighten and most people who aren’t hyper partisan knew that it would.

Watched a bit of the live feed. Unless some of those people where joking, they're Trump fanatics that would make Al-Qaeda blink with their devotion levels.

'I decided I had to do something': can young voters flip a key swing county against Trump?

We will see, these people are brave and don't want to be on the wrong side of history.

After a repentant Trump voter's one-man protest, what happened next?

Fascinating.

Glad to see that the brainwashing is broken. He won't have the numbers to convincingly win even with his election tampering. What will be most interesting is to see who is foolish enough to continue to support him until election day, and whether they will react with remorseful defeat or unbridled petulance when Trump is eventually ousted.

Wihin a few months! 😆

I could see by the first year or two, but months? Nothing happens the first few months of a presidency.

Yes, people like you are heavily brainwashed.

Anyone who still puts much stock in polls after what happened in 2016 is a friggin' idiot.

Donald Trump has been ordered by a California Superior Court to reimburse adult film actress Stormy Daniels for $44,000 in legal fees she incurred in the battle over her nondisclosure agreement.

The judge's order was issued Monday but posted online Friday by Clifford's attorneys.

Clifford, an adult-film actress who says she had an affair with Trump from 2006 to 2007, signed a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who represented a shell company and a "David Dennison," which Clifford contends is a pseudonym for Trump.

Trump denies the affair occurred.

Good for her, it doesn't sound like Avaneti helped her much overall.

It's still silly to place too much faith in polls though. Especially when you see stuff like this:

I don't believe in ghosts, dipshit, unless you count the Holy Ghost as a ghost. God is real.
