I somewhat agree. There's likely an overlap between those 2 sets of people but it's probably not the same exact set of people.
Such as me: didn't stand or Obama's constitutional abuses and I still don't stand for Trump's. Trump didn't end the Patriot Act and all spying programs like it. Trump is just as guilty as Obama and Bush Jr.

The problem is there are many people who did stand for Obama's abuses and yet can't stand for Trumps. And yes the reverse of that also exists.

The reality of the situation is this is being done for the optics (like with NK) as Trump needs it now more than ever and mainly so the US can sell weapons to the UAE again, after they got slapped in 2019 over "misplacing" US weapons that somehow ended up in Al Qaeda and other militant groups fighting in Yemen.
