Depends on what they were doing. Pres are not allowed to do anything and everything. For example, impeding traffic with reporters and cameras.
Currently, it's not known if we can hold the media accountable for the 50 deaths related to the post-George Floyd Death protests and riots. While the media is directly culpable for whipping up at least some people in a frenzy over GL's death, the exact culpability is very difficult to quantity. This becomes a slam dunk case if a producer is on record (in an e-mail or voice recording) stating that they know their sensationalism will definitely end up in deaths from the rioting. I'm just waiting for a leak like this to happen so we can start prosecuting our media for literally inciting violence with their sensationalism and hyper-coverage of issues like GL's death.
