Depends on what they were doing. Pres are not allowed to do anything and everything. For example, impeding traffic with reporters and cameras.

Pretty sure police attacking and arresting journalists is infringement of the first amendment.

Show me a link to a credible source of Trump having actual journalists arrested for just reporting the news. I'll wait.

I don't like VICE all that much but that's awful they did that.

Odd request given all the blowhard stuff about Trump sending in forces to deal with protesters. Suddenly when it's journalists getting targeted it's not Trump that sent them in.

Make up your mind.

That video you posted was not Trump having journalists arrested for reporting the news, Jaden.

First of all, pretty sure Trump himself didn't give an actual order to "arrest journalists at protests". If you have proof otherwise then show me.

Secondly, if the so-called "journalists" are in the way of the police doing their jobs then they should be arrested.

Finally, I don't know the full context of those arrests in that video. For all I know, the police could've given the "journalists" an order to clear the area and the "journalists" refused to do so. If that were the case, then, yes, they should've been arrested.

They don't get a free pass to defy the police orders and just do whatever the Hell they like simply because they call themselves "journalists".

Good to know you like it when constitutional rights are trampled on by government authorities, bootlicker. 👍

😂 top notch! 👆

It's amusing that when you search for "police attacking journalists" on YouTube you get a nice mix of videos from America and Hong Kong.

America and China...bezzie mates.

Play the stupid card if you don’t want to answer my question, that’s perfectly fine.

It just shows how stupid you and everyone that sprouts out these bullshits truly are.

The fact that none of you can name me one Journalist Trump had the police go after proves my point.

Your cognitive dissonance is showing.

Vice news is a very Woke Retarded SJW news outlet: among the most anti-Trump of any orgs in the US. However, any police violence against the press, when they properly identify themselves, is illegal as long as the members of the press were not doing anything to incite violence and rioting directly in that situation (not the typical violence incitement they do with the footage that they put on TV and the internet a few hours later where they deceptively edit and narrate things to make more violence and rioting happen).

Edit - And everyone, especially Trump and the police, should readily welcome the press to record the events. It documents when the rioters and looters do bad things so police can arrest them, later. It's a win-win for everyone.

And they don't.

What are they trying to hide? hmm

^crazy a** tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist.

They're not hiding anything. If anyone is hiding anything it is the Democrats and the mainstream corporatist media.

👆 Brilliant 😂

So in that video you had press not engaging in obstructive activity, not inciting violence, clearly identifying themselves as press and yet being told by police that they "don't care" before they infringe on freedom of the press.

And that's just one of the examples.

Interested to know how fervent constitutionalists can defend that.

One of the poblems is that anitfa also passes out gear with press on it and it looks like everyone gets a black eye when baddies break the rules and try to hide as press.

So still no proof that Trump gave an order to have journalists arrested?

Yup, that's what I thought.

Police, a government institution, attacking journalists is a direct violation of the first amendment.

You claim to defend the Constitution. Yet you condone it happening.

Remember when I said you only cared about the constitution when you agreed with it?

You're proving me right again.

You don't care about the constitution. You are a traitor to America.
