I live in England and even I know what a fvcking coyote is ( I suppose it's cos I watch TV shoes that would mention them, Sons Of Anarchy, Breaking Bad, etc.).

I would definitely expect a US politician or somebody who claims to really care about immigration to have heard the term before though.
