Well....I certainly changed my opinion.
People let's be real. One the one hand you have :
Galactus' heralds that are immortal (don't age, don't need to eat/breathe/sleep?), they have FTL speeds and zip around from one end of the universe to the other, they have godlike senses (their mind isn't overwhelmed by traveling at incredible speeds looking for world's suitable for their master), they all have insane durability (the weakest of them dove into the heart of a star and easily withstood the heat and pressure there), they have powerful ranged attacks and a host of other powers they conveniently forget to use in a comic setting.

The original Torch killed Tony once.
this would be tough for tony. can his armor handle star level heat? i don't think so. his shields can hold for a while, and he can def absorb some of the power and amp himself. i think it would depend a little on the showings you want to use. tony's best would suggest he could take a couple, but i still think overall firelord would be too much most of the time without some sort of specialized armor or prep.
that's not to say there aren't some lh tony CAN'T take though. he could definitely be listed as lh imo.
