Yes we do. He works as a life guard in that town, he was video'd and pictured cleaning streets, giving first aid and his last Samaritan act putting out a dumpster fire that was about to set lights to gas pipes was what prompted people to chat and shoot at him.

If he tried to put out that fire and didn't have the gun on him, he may very well have been killed or badly beaten.

Your life is dictated by your choices.

White people don't force blacks or anyone else to do anything.

What if you are born in abject poverty without a dad, does that mean life is dictated solely by your own choices....seems to be there is that emersonian self reliance at play but you also are influenced by your enviroment as well.
