Thor vs Superman - Battle of Wills

Thor endures the totality of a point blank God Bomb, which was made to kill all gods in history, and was doing so at once.

He looks like he got totally fcked up in the process

He actually died there. But good show of willpower.

He would of died there, but due to superior willpower he lived a few more panels and then died😀

He was fine until he had to expel the necrosword, thats what did him in.

superman doesn't even need to use his ring to win this, he could just say "Gorr is right" and thor would lose his will to fight.

Not sure.

Aaron definetely brought back the idea of prayers in the Thor mythos, but it was treated mainly as en extra sensory perception or a sixth sense. One can even call it as a means of communication. No real indication of power amping iirc. Aaron used it quite extensively in his 7 - 8 year run.

Plus, he is using Xavier's brain, thus using the most powerful telepath on Earth. That's a far cry from Nudge whose power is specifically stated to require overcoming willpower.
