^ Cool fan fiction bud, you should write for marvel. Herald Thor wins lock this mods.

Like I said, the Rune's magic would protect him from the Herald King. Their offensive magical power would also allow the Rune King to pluck his head off with the ease of plucking off a grape.

This is a no contest, RK Thor beats him with ease.

I disagree because imo a portion of the power cosmic and the power cosmic is much more impressive than rune magic is.

Is Pc a greater amp than the runes?

Maybe or maybe not, all we know about it is Odin had knowledge of it and it's got some cool feats like plucking Loki's head like a grape and animating it or Stopping Mangogs punches. PC depending on th amount has a much more extensive and impressive history. So, I'm leaning more towards the PC than Rune knowledge.

It would be much easier to say if runes had more showings.

Alas, that is not the case.

In that case Morg should still, be alive... No? Not Morg? Okay how about Nova, Air Walker, Red Shift? RK Thor had the whole pie, not a portion.

As mentioned, Herald Thor humiliated a Galactus who was more powerful than ever before... Ever. Before.

Outside of Stoic, I can't imagine anyone realistically thinking that RKT operates on that kind of level.

Maybe you're thinking that Galactus was more than he actually was, because he didn't actually do much of anything hImself, and was made out to be inferior to the Herald King, who had been bloodied showing that he was very susceptible to injury unlike the Rune King.

No, I'm thinking he was more powerful than ever before, because that's what Galactus himself stated:

And that is also the level Surfer implied Galactus would be operating at, after absorbing the 5 exotic planets:

I thought it was close, but after seeing this it's worst. Herald Thor stomps 10/10 /thread

Galan's been saying that since page 1.

Unless it gets retconned later that Galactus wanted to lose or was compromised somehow... it must be treated as a legit feat --- even if it's ridiculous and even nonsensical.

on the flip side, I don’t think Rune King would have even felt that rock.

Can't disagree.. Galan is literally telling us what happened to him.

He didn’t feel Galactus’ attacks and effortlessly withstood the planet exploding.

It's f*cking stupid for sure, but unfortunately it is what it is.

Look at every appearance Galactus has made over the years, where he's either been explicitly amped or portrayed at an absurdly high level(even for him)... Then remember that Herald Thor trounced a Galactus who was more powerful than that.

Above the Galactus who was holding off the Galactus Engine.
Above the Galactus who was fighting Scrier and threatening the universe/multiverse.
Above the Galactus who was ripping individual Mad Celestials apart.
Above Lifebringer.
etc.

This is Cates.

It’s been like this ever since comics were given to other writer to write though?

Most writers cares little for power level. All they see its the outline and ending of the story they have in mind. If it contradicts a prior storyline, oh well.

It wasn't needed for the story-telling at all.

Cates just wanted to mindlessly wank Thor.

Editors normally stop writers from doing such shit, at least he had a double amp.

What about that Dr. Strange arc in which Galactus solo'd Strange's army?

Dormammu, Gladiator, Bolt and many others?

Strange reversed time and nobody remembered it happening (as it never happened).

So technically, unless Galactus had some kind of multi timeline memory, he won't remember being *that* powerful.
