He also used the power to seed the Universe after he beats Knull as with that energy he's able to reignite the dying Universe once inhabited by Knull, in essence becoming his own ancestor.

Yep. 👆Especially if you take Freeza's word at face value(and I see no reason not to, tbh.) Because per Freeza, SS1 Broly was already the strongest being in existence, and SS1 Gogeta was stalemating him.
Then when you factor in Broly's FPSS/green-haired state(which gave him enough of an amp that Gogeta felt the need to transform all the way from SS1 to SSB in response), then the gap between he and Jiren just becomes that much larger.
Broly was just on a whole different level, imo... But a lot of people really like to hype Jiren no matter what.
Didn't TOEI say they overdid it with broly and actually were going to make the next DBS movie boss weaker than broly?

PL wise, namek saga/ Early cell saga, because he creates stars and black holes (which are more powerful than stars) pretty effortlessly, his energy soak is also very high. And ofcourse, his variety of hax
