No less than 4-5 pieces of promotional material + the lite novel indicate that Broly > Jiren.

Are there half a dozen pieces of info that place Jiren above Broly?

Nope. I take it back. There is no evidence of broly over jiren. The lite novel and promotional material only refers to universe 7 related matters. Frieza was knocked out for most of jiren being at full power so he isnt reliable.

Furthermore Broly is only stated to be the strongest adversary/enemy. Per Toriyama's words Jiren was never meant to be either. He was meant to be goku's strongest rival.

Whis explicitly has Jiren above the realm of GoDs. Beerus is in that realm of power, he may be the strongest but not overwhelmingly except some, as at least Champa is literally stated in scans to be his equal.

FighterZ has Beerus and Whis give statements on characters and Beerus is more impressed with Jiren when comparing his statements for both.

Toriyama never said anything indicating that, and everyone who was against Universe 7 is an enemy. Besides, foe, enemy, adversary, opponent, it's all synonymous shit.

Where Jiren ranks doesn't change the fact that Broly is just a higher level of that. And there's contradictory shit that both says Jiren was above Beerus and that Beerus is above Jiren. But I'm ignoring that rn to focus solely on evidence on Broly being above Jiren, because literally everything propagates that.

Especially if you take Freeza's word at face value(and I see no reason not to, tbh.) Because per Freeza, SS1 Broly was already the strongest being in existence, and SS1 Gogeta was stalemating him.

Then when you factor in Broly's FPSS/green-haired state(which gave him enough of an amp that Gogeta felt the need to transform all the way from SS1 to SSB in response), then the gap between he and Jiren just becomes that much larger.

Broly was just on a whole different level, imo... But a lot of people really like to hype Jiren no matter what.
