It's not common sense at all. They can call it whatever they want and say that it's not a time stop all they want. But it literally works by having Hit effectively stop time for everyone else and be able to move around in it (as well as anyone else powerful enough apparently). Something like King Crimson (from JoJo) skips time and it works in an entirely different manner.

Aaaahhhhh, so Hit is moving ahead of time and Goku was still able to keep up with him. That makes Goku speed even more beastly. Thanks for pointing this out.

Time stop means time. Is.. STOPPED.

If you can act, at all, you were never stopped. Being capable of action is proof of this.

Hit anally rapes Superman, I agree.

Who the phuck says so? You?

There are beings that can move in pure stopped time and some going further where time isnt an object to them period and they can even move around time (i.e. time travel) through pure speed.

You dont get to decide that it's just extremely heavy time dilation because movement happened.

It's not your fiction.

Jiren can move in zero time. Deal with it.

In the U6vs.U7 tournament, Goku was able to react to Hit by accurately predicting where he'd time-skip to next. So that had more to do with Goku being a genius fighter than actually 'keeping up' with Hit.

During their rematch, Goku was getting throttled by Hit pretty good until he used a Kamehameha to bust through Hit's time dimension.

Didn't we already have this convo? Back when we were arguing about IT?

What about the time Goku was in Super Saiyan Blue using kaioken times 10 (or 20, can't remember)?. He was moving through Hit time skip without prediction.

Yeah, but I think this particular discussion is centered around time manipulation.

Goku trying to do something like that to Zoom wouldn't end well, especially if Zoom is serious. And for Wally's time stop, even The Darkest Night and hundreds of alternate Flashes were frozen in time for a few minutes. And this was even while the Speed Force was drastically weakened.

it doesnt even matter how fast Goku is, Zoom is actively rewinding himself through time, speeding himself up faster than Pre 52 Wally could run, even while amped. Goku will only have a change is Zoom deliberately slows himself down enough to test him, like he did with Wonder Woman when he wanted her to redeem herself and prove herself a worthy hero. 😂

Oh, are you talking anime?

I'm pretty sure that SSB+KK Goku was still getting temporarily frozen by Hit's [evolving] time-skip there, but I could be wrong.

I actually would be interested to see how MUI's haxx would fair against a high-level time-skipper, like Zoom.

2 min 15 seconds... he was moving through it...

Dark, just watch the show.

Goku would wreck Zoom. Zoom punched Powergirl with millions of blows and she didn't even feel it while she was straight up choking him.

Right, but then once Hit started evolving his time-skip(a little later in that battle), he was able to freeze/avoid Goku again.

On a sidenote(because I never really thought about it before), this also speaks to Goku's exponential growth between the sagas.

During the U6vs.U7 Tournament, SSB+KKx10 Goku was unable to defeat a Hit who was holding back the full breadth of his power(ie. killing techniques) as per the Tourney rules... But just one arc later(right after the Zamasu arc), base SSB Goku was ultimately able to straight up overpower/shatter Hit's time dimension with an energy blast.

This implies upwards of a 10x increase in power, at the very least [ie. base SSB Goku(end of Zamasu arc) > SSB+KKx10 Goku(U6vs.U7 arc)]... That's some pretty absurd growth in the span of a single arc, lol.

^ When exactly did Goku and Vegeta master the SSJB transformation in the anime and in the manga?

In the manga, SSB had a lot of energy consumption drawbacks initially. Goku mastered it during the Zamasu arc, and Vegeta mastered it just after.

SSB wasn't treated the same way in the anime though.

Never in the anime.

Manga, it was considered "mastered" when all the energy released from an aura disappeared, resulting in 100% power use.
