Surfer had some really crazy high end feats.

High end speed and durability(can fight inside black holes) and the ability to generate kryptonite radiation? On top of blasts already capable of destroying stars...not good for post crisis Supes in 99% of the iterations.

And I do like DBZ, hell I like Revenge of Cooler. I think I've seen DBZ movies 1-14, but this was like a decade ago

I do know the "Dragon ball super" stuff really started to wank them to epic proportions previously not thought possibly. Not from reading it, but from hearing people say it described DBZ characters as "as dense as a black hole" lol.
