Those fact checkers got about half of those ratings correct.
They are pretty terrible.
For example:
I made it halfway down and any fact they "checked" that was labeled as misleading was just "True."
Some of the ones labeled false are undeniably true.
Who would use such a terrible fact "checking" tool?
And they fact check Trump's very obvious hyperbole. Which is rather hilarious.
I can't wait for Reuters to fact check their fact check. 🙂 I don't have time to go through all of Biden's and Trump's "facts" and then fact check NYT's obviously terrible fact checking.
Ok so I just watched most of the debate. Have about 30 minutes left but it’s 3:00am and I’m tired so I’ll watch the rest tomorrow.
So far I think this is Trump’s best debate performance I’ve seen. He’s relying less on childish zingers and one liners and giving coherent answers with confidence while also doing a good job bringing up the hunter Biden stuff without concentrating too much on it. Also by not interrupting constantly it’s making him seem more mature and less cowardly. Trump’s been doing a good job. Though I think his weakest moments came during the healthcare section. He didn’t really have good answers for anything there.
Biden is about the same as the first debate I guess. He’s benefiting from not being interrupted constantly but I think the new rules are benefiting Trump by making him seem more mature by default. So far Biden hasn’t made any huge gaffes or stumbled terribly and has given decent answers. Think he’s doing ok but that Trump is much improved over the first debate.
The moderator is doing a very good job so far. Questions are fair and she is doing a good job keeping control, letting the candidates reply to each other but in a controlled way.
All that said, I don’t think this debate will prove change anyone’s mind. I think if it does it will probably be helpful to Trump and maybe get him back some people who maybe moved away from him after how he acted in the first debate. But overall I think supporters for each candidate will probably be pretty pleased with how their candidate performed.
I watched some of it, the restrained Trump performance after the unfiltered Trump just says this man is acting and lying again. It underlines the old adage of Politicians saying what they want you to hear and Trumps 360, makes him look oliaginous and disingenuous imo. Would you Trust the new Trump having seen the real Trump?
Not even two minutes into speaking and Biden was already lying. It was just one lie after another with that guy. You can tell Biden is lying when his mouth is moving lol.
I eventially got tired of keeping count of how many times he lied.
Everytime he started speaking I just always assumed "here comes another lie" and more often than not I was proven right.
