The Gamma Bomb made him a point where the Green Door can open. You can drain him, but he'll still be the Hulk. He'll still be immortal, and super strong etc. Loki straight up depowered him. P.S. The Absorbing Man showed ridiculous absorption capabilities in Immortal Hulk and he was...also made by Loki. Rogue drained him, and it didn't even make a dent.

Anyway, Hulk always had some passive absorption abilities, sure, but Immortal Hulk uses them actively and it's one of his regular gimmicks... making him vulnerable to Loki's magic trick, among other things.

Sasquash is another Hulk though, and, his power was being used in ways he doesn't use it. Standard Sasquash would get treated like Juggernaut did.
I dont know why people mention his absorption abilities anyways. I havent seen it make a real difference when it come to his physical stats yet.
Also want to point out that Hulk was destroying Sasquash until he saw who it was he was fighting, his dad and yes it mentally does something to him. This was proven again in the latest issue of Immortal Hulk...
