This story is another example of why we need a serious look at our gun laws in America. How was this diagnosed mentally ill person allowed to have a gun, let alone multiple guns. If he inherited or stole them, that's one thing. If he purchased them, that's another.

Mentally ill people who pose a danger to themselves and/or others should not be allowed to have guns.
