The point is most people are conservative voters.
Wrong mate! The Conservative vote share in 2019 was 45% of course only 2/3rds of those eligible to vote voted...

We've been over this. Ruling out the Tory Bliar victories, Labour have only been in power for 11 years since Clement Attlee.

Yes, first past the post does not produce what the majority wants.

Well we tried that with Nick Clegg and failed. Now he works for Facebook.

No, we has a far right led coalition where compromises and backroom deals allowed the austerity Government to start the hell which we are seeing the finL results of now. No doubt without the moderation of the lib dems the first wave of the far right would have been worse, the coalition was less pr and more cleggs blind ambition for power. Sidebar, John major said Tories should never make coalitions with the ulster unionist extremists, amusing by the time of Cameron the Tories were to the right of the Unionists and more radical.

Yeah and May tried to compromise with the DUP and failed.

2016 was a hell of a year. They gambled on Brexit and everyone lost. Except for me anyone else who made bets on those disasters.

yeah the DUP were betrayed amusingly by madder people than them... and never will trust the Tores again, Sinn Fein had the door opened by this for their present success in the North, well, that and the Tories treatment of Ireland post Brexit.

Will Charles really give up Ulster though?

we'll see, the rapidity of the UK's coming decline may leave him no choice... oh Brexiteers and Tories, what have you done?

Tbh, I actually supported the idea of a united Ireland. As long as we can control more of the North Sea (that means allying with Norway and Iceland) and yes, this also means allying with Denmark (or at least, Greenland and the Faroe Islands).

lol, most of those hate us too. You're to young to remember the Cod Wars or the belief we stole Oil from them... I'm not.

So even GB News (right wing outlet) is reporting Labour is 30points ahead ! :

I really dont see how Labour can lose now. Rishi would have had a chance, but Truss has no chance. I mean shes literally crashed the economy in weeks of taking over.

Oh, Labour can lose... Labour are great at losing; mainly because the British people are very stupid and can easily be manipulated, through greed, racism and patriotism to doff caps to their "betters" and vote against their best interests.

I think he meant we had a referendum on past the post (a condition Nick Clegg put in going into the coalition). And we lost that referendum badly Iirc.

I would love a change to proportional representation (I think its called). Then we would all feel free to vote for whoever we liked knowing it would count.

and completely useless in Northern Ireland as all big decisions are made in Westminster... also irrelevant.

A small c, conservative truth, not scaremongering.

Explain why Joe Biden is objectively a good presidential representative without referring to Trump.

I have a hard time believing the man who fist bumped the Saudi Prince he was supposed to suspect of murder drafted any of his own policies.

Because he can...sniff out corruption.

He won't...stutter in the face of pressure from China and Russia
