Considering the only thing keeping the Taliban at bay was the occupation, isn't this a net loss for the citizens, and a questionable decision by Biden?
Thats nice media propaganda against pulling out of 20 year occupation.
But ill play for a second. As Biden himself explained he left the Afghan forces with every advantage to fight off the Taliban. And yet they lost in days.
Simply put there was no way of leaving without the Taliban taking over. So you wanted to stay there forever ?

Since it was his administration that actually executed the deal, it seems fair to praise or criticize him, as it was him at the helm, and not Trump.
This I agree with.
Trump ran on being all anti-war, and did set things up for a withdrawal. But in 5 years never had the balls to actually do it. Its almost as if he was to scared to go up against the establishment.
So yes I agree, all credit should go to Biden.
And he should also get the blame for bombing civilians right after in reaction to the terrorist attack (and probably over reacting due to media backlash).

Had a wee nosey at some conservative talking heads to see why they think they didn't do as well as they should've.Ben Shapiro seems to think that it was because they fielded candidates who were "fighty" on culture wars issues and the "woke agenda" but weren't good on, you know, actual important policies.
This complaint from the guy whose outlet promotes "What is a Woman" as the most important documentary of the decade.
It's almost like gaslighting your cult into believing inconsequential garbage is important has consequences.
Like I said in the other thread, not one policy to actually help people. And they honestly thought they would clean house because voters were fed up of a President who had demonstrably been helping.
Republicans make Tories look socialist.
Joe Bidens comment on Iran:
Isn't this what that war monger John Bolton wanted? A regime change in Iran?
Is this comment indicative of listening to like minded hawks?
Hilarious that Republicans are repudiating Trump now.
So it'll be interesting to see if he still announces a 2024 run and if he does, what will the Republican establishment do..
I'd still like to see Warnock win in Georgia. I'm a Georgian and I'll be voting for him in the Run-off.
Herschel Walker is such an abomination of all that is good and right: the stupidity of a phony police badge, the total hypocrisy on abortion, etc. And to be clear, even if he WASN'T a total hypocrite on abortion it's still awful. He's just DOUBLY awful.

Ron Destantis will be the 2024 guy, he's already polling better then Trump. And it's not like he can fight back without a viable platform.
Trump is done.
You did, you temporarily fell victim to the "Biden has no chance, Trump will destroy him!" mindset that was prevalent when Biden first pushed ahead in the Dem primary and the whole KMC Trumper squad was claiming that Biden was an invalid who couldn't string four words together. It's okay, you corrected not long after.
