Ex-Trump Ally Deals Massive Blow to Biden Impeachment Inquiry

An ex-associate of Rudy Giuliani on Wednesday pushed back on what he characterized as false claims made by former President Donald Trump about the Biden family.

Lev Parnas, who worked with Giuliani when former attorney for Trump attempted to find information on the Bidens, made the comments during a House Oversight Committee hearing in the GOP-led impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden

"The American people have been lied to, by Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and various co-horts of individuals in government and media positions," Parnas said during his opening statement. "They created falsehoods to serve their own interests knowing it would undermine the strength of our nation."

He added: "The only information ever pushed on the Bidens and Ukraine has come from one source and one source only: Russia and Russian agents." -snip

How embarrassing when even foxnews is like "no no too silly", to a conservative, and shuts them down

Fox News is beyond being embarrassed due to zero morals. Hopefully their second election-lies lawsuit costs them another almost-billion-dollar hit.

Meanwhile Republicans won't drop the Biden impeachment or call for a vote, while simultaneously not being able to cite actual crimes. They want to milk it until November.

When Democrats impeached Trump, the crimes where listed immediately.

You guys have lied since 2015 😆

It's almost like republicans want to lose the upcoming election.

I do believe there is a portion of openly Pro-Trump Republicans that privately want Trump to lose again. They're too scared to go against Trump for fear of cultist reprisal and monetary loss, but realize a 2nd Trump term would be even more disastrous than his 1st.

They're still all deplorable cowards, just a different kind of deplorable coward.

Remember kids, the Reagan Years and the economy leading up to the 1984 election is the 'golden era' to Republicans, as of Feb 2024:

outta nowhere! dark brandon rko!!

It's a shame Trump and Trumpers are largely too smooth-brained to realize they just got owned by an octogenarian.

US adds 303K jobs in March, again beating expectations

"The U.S. economy added 303,000 jobs in March, and the unemployment rate dipped slightly to 3.8 percent, according to new Labor Department data released Friday.

The March jobs report once again beat expectations. Economists had anticipated that the economy would gain 200,000 jobs and that the jobless rate would dip to 3.8 percent." -TheHill

That's about 10% of the jobs Trump lost during his admin. Fox News (et al) are spinning this as a negative: "Biden's economic boom is not for Americans, but for illegal immigrants"-Fox News

Rightist grapes be sour 🙂

Biden’s next student debt relief plan will cover more than 30M borrowers

Keeping that campaign promise.

Guess who's mad 🙂

Why do people like Michael Moore and other short list celebrities say current president is worst president ever?

He did it with Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump and Biden. The irony is we all know he hates Reagan the most.

He did? I don't really follow him, he comes off as annoying.

They're throwing George W. Bush jokes at him now, Grimsburge did one where Joe Biden was microwaving a burrito and complaining about the TV reception.

In major policy shift, Biden urges Israel to unilaterally declare 6-8 week ceasefire in Gaza

US President Joe Biden has called on Israel to unilaterally agree to a six-to-eight week ceasefire, in an apparent retreat from his administration’s stance that conditioned a truce in Gaza on Hamas releasing some of the hostages it’s holding in the Strip.

“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,” Biden tells the Univision, a US Spanish-language TV network.

“I’ve spoken with everyone from the Saudis to the Jordanians to the Egyptians. They’re prepared to move in,” Biden says. “They’re prepared to move this food in. And I think there’s no excuse to not provide for the medical and the food needs of those people. It should be done now.”

Asked whether Netanyahu is more concerned about political survival than Israelis’ national interest, Biden responds, “I think what he’s doing is a mistake… I don’t agree with his approach.” -snip

Netanyahu is going to need to be high pressured, this war is keeping him out of being indicted and trialed.

I don't follow him religiously but he has made these claims on every one of those presidents.
