????Knull easily tanked the Big Bang, and decapitated a Celestial in his first appearance. Then he spent a few million years killing Gods, and eating Stars. Before tearing Sentry in half casually and beating 3 other Celestials.
And we're not sure if he can beat Superman? Lol, you guys are mad lads. It's true, he lost most of his power when Gorr took the Necro-Sword, but he's regained most of it apparently.

You should re-read the books. Knull is piloting the Grendel dragon's body. We still have yet to actually see the real Knull. It is actually stated repeatedly that "God is coming". Knull is still caged according to the latest Venom comic, unless there was a scene showing him bursting free from the planet of symbiotes? The Void was said to agree with Knull who referred to it as being the Darkness. The Void joined Knull willingly, there was no bullying. Sentry under Cates is the Golden Avatar of the past and not the merged one that was seen later. Cates is a dumb ******* but whatever.
Knull wins. He is on a whole another level.
We saw Sentry enter the fight and easily kill a Celestial. I think it's pretty safe to say that Sentry would have been able to kill the other two Celestials on his own as well. But then he encountered Knull and got ripped apart – easily on top of that.
We've seen Sentry hurt really bad and even killed in the past, but what Knull did was... just on a whole another level. Sentry had the chance to fight back, but he couldn't. He got overpowered and ripped apart, which speaks volumes for Knulls power level.
Sentry isn't dead though. We've known for a while, that he will appear in 'The Return of the Valkyries'. And weirdly enough he looks like a long lost and forgotten member of the Simpsons family there:

No idea what's up with that. Maybe he is in a weird ethereal state now, due to him missing his dark half and not being able to regenerate back to his status quo? Maybe Sentry will end up being the teased god of light, who is Knulls opposite – and that's why he is that shiny? My assumption / prediction was that with this "King in Black" naming and Donny Cates talking about Cosmic Horror, tentacles and so on... Sentry would end up being the King in Yellow, which is an Eldritch Abomination in the Lovecraft lore. And seeing the Sentry yellow like that in the scan above, I feel as if it must have crossed their minds as well. Especially, because we had so much Lovecraftian stuff surrounding the Sentry in the Annihilation Scourge event.
Whatever ends up being the case, one certain constant remains a fact: Superman gets ripped apart and stays dead, since he can't regenerate from a single atom.

Those chains were forged by a black hole which makes them less durable than Terrax, Surfer, Thanos, etc.
