Richard Jewell was cleared of wrongdoing.

Dude's a hero, the shit he went through was unjust.

And now he is getting some of that Netflix money.

The FBI never formally cleared him.

Why do you think Eric Rudolf was given the right to due process and not him?

Not sure if that's true. But okay.

Don't know, they clearly f**ked up with Jewell. It's fine if he was a suspect, but he was treated improperly.

Unless Manhunt was lying, which i Doubt, thats what it said.

Pretty sure I read that Jewell was formally cleared eventually. Could be wrong.

I'm not familiar with Rudolf so why do you think they were treated differently?

Because the FBI leaked it to the media, and they crucified him based on his looks.

Our FBI is outstanding huh?

Remember when you can't admonish someone who's never been charged was a big thing?

Intriguing, what point were you attempting to make with that post?

That you can't clear someone of a crime they didn't commit and were never charged with.

That's what we're going with nowadays, isn't it?

That is all you were saying? No underlying implications?

I wasn't saying. I was asking.

Is that what we're going with?

FFS

Did your question have underlying implications?

Don't be shy now, why is this hard?

I'm trying to get to the bottom of why Richard Jewell was never cleared.

If you can't be cleared of something you never did and were never charged with then we have answered the question of the thread.

Okay cool, I was wondering if there was perhaps some underlying implication in your comment, but you would have noted it by now so my bad it was strictly about this case.

Glad we've sorted that out.
