Ive just reviewed all appearances of Protege on panel and a requirement of Proteges powers are that he needs to see a power visually before him to enable him to duplicate it and he cant duplicate power from artificial sources:
If a power is operated by thought, without any visible energy display then he cannot duplicate. So for example he could never duplicate telepathy, the Invisible Woman's power or wind based power.
Protege never witnessed the Living Tribunals power on display, he never even witnessed Eternitys power on display.
The only cosmic being who displayed any power in front of Protege whilst in the Dimension of Manifestations was the Hawk God:
With that in mind for him to claim LT's power let alone TOAA is preposterous giving how it is stated throughout his appearances that an essential requirement for his powers to work is visual observation.
So him not observing LTs or TOAA power in action, claiming to be TOAA but making himself look like LT, then getting restrained by a Celestial is a whole mess of inconsistency and inconclusiveness.
So instead of amping a random Celestial to LT+ levels, we should be calling bullsh*t on Proteges unproven claims.
You may feel satisfied with accepting his claims and thats your prerogative, but with the evidence at hand you're not in a position to write off my perspective with any weight or conclusiveness.

About Phoenix... i always thought the full power or form of Phoenix Force is multiversal, the firebird is just a fraction of full power PF in each universe. WPotC is just ultimate host in one universe to use full power of that fraction... full PF is far beyond that firebird we usually see in comics. you post wed/thurs and want the judgments....friday? 😕 i know i've been away for a bit, but that is basically record judging time. judgements are usually supplied within...a week post-final postings? if lucky? not much chance i'll get a judgment in within that time frame. give me til sunday and that should suffice--assuming abhi is good with having me judge since he didn't weigh in.
i could also be an as-needed judge, meaning if the vote is split i could given my opinion. i' fine with whatever you guys would like to do. and did i see something about the judges having some kind of discussion re: the posts? or was that just a mis-reading by yours truly?
btw, i'm pretty pumped to see this happen. 😂 has the feel of old school kmc justice. 2guns

About Protege replacing TOAA was only his imaginery based on arrogance because possesing such awesome power.
Still what we know is that LT alone couldn't defeat Protege... and that's a big deal. The duo did it. Even at the end Eternity said
"so it ends and Scathan approves". The key of defeating Protege relied on Scathan and not LT.
The biggest problem of Protege arc was appearance of Scathan (who was there only to record and approve) which caused mess, because Scathan remains a mystery.
Protege is not overrated... someone causing genuine worries to biggest powerhouses in MU is never overrated.

What i didnt do however is have delusions of grandeur and come for a superior debater, give it all the hype and commit to a battlezone, be on the board daily leading up to the battlezone and yet leave it till the kick-off date to state im too busy to participate.
