of course that showing was awesome, but it was so far out of character for him it didn't really seem to apply. that's why i was asking if the feat has been replicated and if the amp were sort of...official. if the jury is still out, not sure it's enough to totally erase his more typical showings throughout his career.

in general i think namor>ben, but ben has always done well at hitting above his paygrade (see most fights with hulk...) so it isn't as cut-and-dry (pun intended) as just who has the better strength feats.

Out of character or not, that is current Namor.

He's like that in the whole Avengers run, character-wise. And outside of it, too (like that time when he fought Chulk or got confronted by Steve and Tony).

You could argue that he is being manipulated or affected by the Serpent Crown --- there are some details on the matter, but the physical amp itself came out of nowhere, sort of. Still, it was very noticeable --- both Thor and Namor himself commented on it, so we can't pretend there is no amp.

if that's the case, and what he did to the avengers is taken at face value, he should clear this i'd think.

Namor isn't beating Thing and Colossus.

He'd be hard-pressed to beat them individually.
